Are you looking for the best pubs or bars in North London? These are my 10 picks as a Hampstead local resident. I truly adore the Hampstead neighbourhood as it feels like a village tucked far away from Central London. However, it’s just moments away from the bustling center.

The Holly Bush is one of the most beautiful pubs in Hampstead, London dating back to the 18th century. You’ll find it on a charming quiet hidden street in Hampstead and be pleasantly surprised as you enter the pub due to its cozy and inviting atmosphere. The interior of The Holly Bush includes exposed brick walls and open fireplaces adding to the warm and welcoming ambiance. There is also a beautiful beer garden which is a popular spot for enjoying a drink on a sunny day. If you just want to enjoy a pint or a meal with friends, The Holly Bush is the perfect place for that. I absolutely love the thick-cut chips!
