Review & Guide: Hobbledown Heath Pumpkin Patch in London
If you’re looking for a fun autumn day out in London, you’ve got to check out the Hobbledown Heath Pumpkin Patch. It just opened in 2024 and is already gaining popularity!
This West London spot offers a super cute pumpkin patch, perfect for families or anyone who loves a good seasonal photo opp (hello, Instagram!). I went with a group of friends and was pleasantly surprised by everything it had to offer.
The pumpkin patch is inside Hobbledown Heath’s adventure park and zoo, so it’s more than just pumpkins. You can also enjoy the animals, like alpacas and meerkats, and play areas in the treetops.
Read on for my full guide on how to make the most out of a visit here. I’ll also explain how to get here from Central London as it was a bit confusing to figure out.

How to Get to Hobbledown Heath Pumpkin Patch

When researching how to get to Hobbledown Heath pumpkin patch, I didn’t find much info online and Google Maps showed me so many options that looked really long. So, here’s a non-confusing explanation of how to get there!
Although the pumpkin patch is in London, it’s in Zone 5 near the Heathrow Airport so it will take a good 1.5 hours to get there from Central London. You will also see planes flying by pretty close and it was fun to spot all the planes.
You’ve got a couple of options using public transport depending on where you’re coming from.
From Green Park (or any Piccadily Line station)
The easiest way to get to Hobbledown Heath is by taking the Piccadilly Line to Hounslow Central. The train journey is 35 minutes.
From there, you can walk 10 minutes to Bus Stop The Bell. Take the 116 , 117, or 235 bus. This bus is a 7 minute ride and will drop you right in front of the pumpkin patch entrance. You can also take a taxi or walk but it will take around 40 minutes by foot.
From Waterloo Station – Jubilee Line
From Waterloo Station, you can take the South Western Railway to Hounslow. The train journey is only 30 minutes from Waterloo.
From there, you can walk 10 minutes to Bus Stop Treaty Centre (Stop S). Get on the 116, 117, or 235 bus. This bus is a 7 minute ride and will drop you right in front of the pumpkin patch entrance. You can also take a taxi or walk but it will take around 40 minutes by foot.

If you have a car, the easiest way is to drive and there is a parking lot available for a fee. The main Hobbledown Heath car park is where you can safetly park.
Hobbledown Heath Tickets

Entry to the pumpkin patch is £6.50, or you can go all out with a combined ticket to explore the whole park for £25.
Children under the age of 2 can enter free of charge.
We just wanted to visit the pumpkin patch, so we opted for the £6.50 ticket. The other ticket will allow you to access all of Hobbledown Heath’s attractions, which include the adventure park with treetop play areas, a farm with animals like meerkats, alpacas, and goats, as well as a giant indoor play barn and some seasonal activities. It’s a great option if you’re planning to make a full day of it!
Prices for pumpkins start at just £3, depending on the size, so it’s a great spot for a fun, full autumn day out!
Tickets should be purchased ahead on GetYourGuide.
How to get a Hobbledown Heath Discount Code?
Hobbledown Heath promo codes aren’t available at the moment but if you are a member, you can get in for as little as £3.25!
How long do you need there?

I got there at opening time, which was 10 am, and we left by 3pm! But this is because we took so many endless photos and chilled out at the cafe for a coffee. We also got some marshmallows to toast.
You could definetly visit in just 3 hours or less if you wanted but it depends on how long you want to make out of the trip. And also if you decide to go to Hobbledown Heath’s other attractions.
What to Do at the Pumpkin Patch
- Pick pumpkins! Starting at £3 (depending on size).
- Take photos at the setup displays, including the entrance, the pumpkin archway, the pumpkin field, the Pumpkin Potion display, and more!
- Wheelbarrow the kiddos and the pumpkins!
- Follow the pumpkin trails
- Roast Marshmallows! For £3 you can roast some delicious marshmallows in the open fire pit.
- Drink a hot chocolate or pumpkin spiced latte at the cafe.
Hobbledown Heath Cafe & Gift Shop

There was a cafe selling snacks and drinks like hot chocolate or pumpkin-spiced lattes. We tried the pumpkin-spiced lattes, which sounded really exciting but tasted just alright. They were not even photogenic and just served in a normal paper cup so I think it could have been better!
There’s also a small gift shop near the entrance where you can buy souvenirs. The gift shop is also where you can buy marshmallows to roast in the fire pits! They cost around £3.00 for the marshmallows.
My Review: Is it Worth Going?
Absolutely! I loved my experience. The ticket price was reasonable for a fun autumn day in London. Also, I was pleasantly surprised by how cute the setup was. There were plenty of pumpkins to choose from. I especially loved the ones hanging on the decorative pumpkin arch.
This was a fun day out with my friends, taking fun photos, and if you have a family, it will be a great day out with the kids. The place was full of families and children enjoying the surroundings. It is a great festive Halloween activity in London for families with kids, too! I found it did get a bit busy after noon but there was still plenty of space to walk around, pick pumpkins, and enjoy taking pictures.
So, yes, Hobbledown Heath gets my vote for one of the best pumpkin patches near London.
