How to Spend the Perfect Day in Belsize Park, London

Belsize Park is one of my favorite London neighborhoods and you can easily see why as it’s filled with many picturesque streets. This prestigious Northwest neighborhood has no shortage of quaint cafes, charming streets, and beautiful homes.

Nestled between Primrose Hill and Hampstead this quiet neighborhood gives the feeling of a village far away from bustling London but in fact just moments away.

So read on for a full guide to the beautiful village in London, Belsize Park. I’m going to share with you how to spend the perfect day in Belsize Park as someone who has spent 5 years in the area! How to Spend the Perfect Day in Belsize Park, London

Wander the Daleham Mews & Princess Mews

This cute street was originally built as old horse stables and many celebs have lived here. There are many nice streets in Belsize Park and this sis definitely one of my favorites.

Just a 4 minute walk away, you’ll also come across another mews called Princess Mews! So many cute streets all around this area so just get lost and enjoy.

Stroll through Belsize Village

Not far from Daleham Mews, make your way to Belsize Village. Stroll through this main square which is home to many nice cafes and gorgeous surrounding homes. This is the heart of Belsize Park after all.

Have brunch at Roni’s Bakery

Located right in Belsize Village is Roni’s Bakery, where you can enjoy brunch You can try the delicious shakshuka or the Greek which are both tasty. I really love Roni’s Bakery. They are also known for their delicious bagels and coffee. It’s situated right in the Village with outdoor seating making it a great place to stop by on a sunny day.

Enjoy a coffee at Gail’s Bakery

Enjoy a coffee at Gail’s Bakery one of the most classic London bakeries / coffee shops. Gail’s is a small London chain so it almost feels like one of the best independent coffee shops in London as it’s definitely not to the scale of Starbucks. I love supporting small and this place screams London.

Read a book at the Daunt Bookstore

Daunt Bookstore is one of the best bookstores in London. You can visit here and find the perfect book. It’s also a quaint place and super iconic to London.

Walk towards Primrose Hill

Walk towards Primrose Hill for even more postcard-worthy streets. Primrose Hill is known for its colorful homes and a huge park with views of London. Learn how to enjoy a Perfect Day in Primrose Hill in my full blog post.

Drink a Pint at the Stag

Visit the Stag for a beer and a pub snack. It’s one of the best pubs in Northwest London and if you’re looking for more cool pubs in the Hampstead area there are so many including the Holly Bush and more.

Visit Steeles Mews during the Autumn Season

If you’re lucky enough to visit during the Autumn season, you will see Steele’s Mews covered in beautiful orangey-red leaves. It’s one of the best autumn Instagram spots in London!

Enjoy an Italian dinner at Cinquecento

Not only is this restaurant super cute inside, it has delicious Italian food. I loved everything from the pizza to the tiramisu.

Watch a movie at the Everyman Cinema

End the evening watching a movie at the Everyman Cinema. They have many shows and movies to choose from. The cinema has loungey seats and you can order food straight to your seat to enjoy.

Extend your walk to Hampstead!
