Instead of Tuscany, why not try Umbria, Italy?

Umbria is much less explored than Tuscany. I’d say it’s full of so many beautiful hidden gems waiting to be explored. It has some of the same features as Tuscany including the beautiful countryside landscapes, rolling hills, picturesque vineyards, and charming medieval towns.

Umbria has a rich history and is home to many historic towns, including Assisi, known for the Basilica of Saint Francis. You can also find impressive art and architecture in Umbria’s churches and museums.

Not only that, Umbria is famous for its food, including truffles, olive oil, and excellent wines like Sagrantino. Food lovers will appreciate the regional cuisine and dining experiences.

How magical is this place? Built in the 11th century, it’s a true fairytale castle. In the 16th century, the Castle was severely damaged during the civil war. It was renovated and after several years it was eventually transformed into a hotel.

This town is so charming and picturesque situated in the Umbria region of Italy. It’s filled with medieval narrow streets and ancient buildings. You won’t find many tourists around, only the locals and the occasional cat 🐈‍⬛! You’ll find many panoramic views of the Umbrian countryside, including nearby Lake Trasimeno.

Who knew traveling glamorously could be so affordable!?

I recently went on a cruise with @pandocruises and interior cabins for a 13 night cruise to Spain from Southampton, UK start at £1,498 for 2 people.

👉That comes out to only £57 a night per person or £115 for 2 people. You can also get a sea view cabin for £20 more a night per person.

What a steal that is! It included all meals, coffee, tea, water, access to so many pools, and endless entertainment.

No longer did I have to worry about which train to catch, switching hotels, or how what tours to book.

That’s because @pandocruises made for an effortless adventure for me and my mom.

We could even book excursions which picked us up directly from the exit of the ship!
