✨ My little hack for traveling the Amalfi Coast af ✨ My little hack for traveling the Amalfi Coast affordably 🇮🇹 I LOVE this little town that literally no tourists visit. And this was actually my second time in Scala. It’s one of my favorite places to stay on the Amalfi Coast because you get the most beautiful mountain and coastal views without the Positano price tag. 🥹 It’s right next to Ravello and all the views overlook stunning Ravello from this little town. 🏡 I stayed at a beautiful hotel here for just €130/night — comment GUIDE and I’ll send you the hotel I stayed at! Dating back to the 4th century, Scala is considered the oldest town on the Amalfi Coast, and it’s the perfect base for exploring. 🏔️ 🚌 Buses take you straight to Ravello in around 10–15 minutes, and you can easily get down to Amalfi too. 🍝 For lunch, try San Pietro @pietrobarscala

Budget friendly places to stay in the Amalfi Coast Budget friendly places to stay in the Amalfi Coast Positano, Capri, and Amalfi might be the most visited towns on the Amalfi Coast and accommodation can be quite expensive. But you can really stay anywhere along the Amalfi Coast and get around by bus or ferry! Here are the most affordable towns to look for accommodation as they are less touristic. - Scala: the oldest town in Amalfi Coast. I stayed here and there were nearly no tourists. People gather on the grass with drinks and after the sunsets, everyone starts clapping. People dance, sing, and cheer. It’s one of the happiest moments. This is the most beautiful medieval town in Portug This is the most beautiful medieval town in Portugal and I can’t believe how many people miss it 🏰✨ The first time I visited Óbidos, I couldn’t believe a place this beautiful actually existed. Surrounded by ancient stone walls, this charming Portuguese village is filled with whitewashed houses, colorful flowers, and cobbled streets. Dating back to the Roman era, Óbidos became one of Portugal’s most important medieval towns. It was famously gifted by King Dinis to Queen Isabel in 1282 as a wedding present, earning it the nickname “The Wedding Gift Town.” One of the best things to do here is walk along the walls for insane views all around. Don’t leave without trying Ginjinha, the town’s famous cherry liqueur, often served in an edible chocolate cup. 🍒🍫 Despite being just over an hour from Lisbon, many visitors only stop for a quick photo. I stayed overnight and was so happy I did. Plus, my room had the most perfect views of the medieval walls. I loved staying at this unique accommodation. How to visit:
Driving is the easiest option, but you can also reach Óbidos by bus from Lisbon in about 1 hour.
